Come celebrate history with our new performance!
African American Children's Theatre puts on two short plays about Martin Luther King, Jr and several prominent African American musicians. The story about Martin Luther King, Jr. combines live action with pre-recorded video to show our student's views on Dr. King and his achievements. The Musicians is a play set to music showcasing the talents of Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Scott Joplin and W.C. Handy. Come see our young actors as they prepare to be tomorrow's leaders. Our set was designed by local artists Tejumula Ologboni and Ras Ammar Nsoroma.

Give a child the gift of theatre.
Every child deserves that chance to express themselves in a safe and creative environment. AACT provides that environment, and lets children have fun with creative performance while educating them about African American culture. We need your support to continue growing tomorrow's leaders and performers. Please donate today. Any amount helps!
AACT is a fun after school program with a purpose. Our children’s musical theatre program encourages each youth to become the best person they can be. Listen to an interview about AACT's 20 years with founder and executive director Constance Clark which aired on WUWM in September, 2009. Click Here.
